1971 Datsun Z-Series.1971 Datsun 240z 2 Door Coupe project for sale.This Datsun is powered by a 6 cylinder engine paired with a 4 speed manual transmission , engine and transmission are matching number with a tag on the right, 71,889 miles on the odometer. I also have extra parts that comes with the sale four shocks japan made,bars,new bushings,steering wheel,original radio and some other miscellaneous pieces.You're looking at my Series 1 1971 Datsun 240Z. This is an all numbers matching original car that is unmolested and a fantastic car to restore! Engine turns on! Car is not driveable however as it needs brake work, clutch master, gas tank.The car has typical rust as most of these do, but it's overall pretty solid. It will need front bottom of the quarter panels repaired and front fenders on the bottom repaired please look at the pictures , but the outer rockers, doors, fenders, dog legs, rear quarters are really solid. The original spot welds are still present around the rear wheel arches. There is NO bondo in this car! It has always been a California Car!!!! I don't believe the car has ever been in any major accidents. The doors shut very nicely. The hood pops up about an inch on the driver's side front corner as the mechanism below that scissor folds as it opens and closes needs adjusted or replaced. You can push that corner down and the body lines are excellent. All glass is in good condition except the back glass need a new one.
